Why do we do what we do?

We strongly believe that PDH events (webinars and lunch & learns) are a win-win for both engineers and industrial manufacturers. That’s why we built a business around promoting the benefits of PDH events.

PDH events allow industrial manufacturers to connect in a meaningful way with the engineers who specify their products.

Engineers benefit from the free PDH credits they earn at PDH events, which they need for license renewal. More importantly, PDH events equip engineers with knowledge that will make them better engineers and by extension help safeguard the health, welfare, and safety of the public.

Our Experience

We are experts on everything PDH for engineers. Our team invests countless hours each year studying rule changes and corresponding with the state engineering licensing boards.

We have operated in the PDH continuing education space for 20 years and we have helped organizations ranging from small equipment manufacturers to Fortune 500 corporations achieve nationwide approval of their PDH program. Since 2003, we have awarded more than 800,000 hours of PDH credit to professional engineers and have never had a single PDH certificate rejected by a state engineering licensing board.

Our Story

NoonPi was founded by Edward (Eddie) Brunet, Jr., P.E., an innovator in the engineering continuing education industry. Eddie began his professional career in 1990 working as an engineer on multi-billion-dollar oil & gas projects.

While working on a project in South Korea, Eddie struggled to find ways to earn the PDH credits he needed to renew his PE license. So, in 2003, he founded one of the first companies to provide online PDH courses and webinars for professional engineers.

In 2016, Eddie acquired a company that hosts live 2-day seminars designed for engineers to earn PDH credits. Many of the seminar speakers were industrial manufacturers’ representatives who educated the engineers on topics related to the products they sold.

At a seminar in St. Louis, Eddie observed a back-of-the-room discussion between a speaker and an attendee that resulted a few months later in a $250,000 purchase order for two heat exchangers.

After witnessing the positive interactions between speakers and attendees in cities throughout the country, Eddie realized that he needed to start another company. NoonPi was founded in 2020 to help connect industrial manufacturers and engineers through PDH events.

The NoonPi website is a repository of the knowledge Eddie has collected through his years of experience working with industrial manufacturers and engineers. This information is offered freely to help industrial manufacturers develop their own PDH marketing program.

NoonPi also provides services to industrial manufacturers who wish to outsource elements of their PDH program or who seek to reach a large audience of new prospects by presenting a topic at a NoonPi lunchtime webinar.
